METHOD

Use a dumpling maker (or ravioli or empanada mould) to form cushions.

  1. Flatten slices with a rolling pin. The pressed crumb makes it stronger and unable to tear.
  2. Spread some sauce (tapenade, mayonnaise or cream cheese) on inside surface of ravioli (to glue edges together).
  3. Lay filling in the middle of the bread slice and close mould. Press firmly.
